Sorry no but we have two 30” smart TV’s for you to sign into with your preferences from home. There is a mobile “ Ultimate Ears” speaker for you to log in for your specialist choice of music. We hope you will find too much to do and see out and about!
What size is the fridge freezer?
The cottage has a full size fridge freezer, the same one we fell in love with on a short break in the Quantocks – I loved it so had to buy it for the cottages. It has plenty of storage space.
Do you offer anything extra for special occasions and honeymoons?
We offer a few little treats for couples staying, when the second bedroom is not being used. We are happy to help you plan for a surprise break. We have had 3 marriage proposals happen here, that we know of!
Do you supply a welcome basket?
Whilst we are a self-catering cottage, we offer a few items to get you started. Bread, crisps, biscuits juice, portion of butter, jam, milk, eggs, vegetable oil, vinegar, salt & pepper , dry herbs & fresh herbs from the garden, tea, instant coffee, sugar. Cleaning products a washable dish cloth, tea towels are all supplied , along with dish washer tabs, 2 toilet rolls, starter soap for the bathroom.
Do supermarkets deliver?
Yes they all do. But we have Waitrose and Morrisons 2 miles away, with Sainsburys, Tesco, Lidl and Aldi a little further away… but save space for Strouds award winning Farmers Market on Saturdays for some fabulous locally produced fayre.
Do you have EV charging points?
Currently we do not have EV charging points. We have planning for two of these but these will not go in til we reconfigure our downstairs and they will be in the shared driveway.

The closest fast charge for EV cars is 2 miles away next to Strouds Cinema and MacDonalds. I believe there are 4 charge points.

Do you allow smoking in the cottages?
We are strictly a NO SMOKING in or immediately around the cottage where smoke could drift in. Guests are welcome to smoke in the garden or on the BBQ terrace. If there is evidence/smell of smoking within the cottages we reserve the right to charge not only additional cleaning fees but also the re accommodating of the in coming guests in alternative premises until the smell of/evidence of smoking is no longer.
Would you allow one well behaved, non-shedding dog at the cottage, if kept downstairs?
I am really sorry but we cannot allow any pets at the cottage as future guests may have an animal allergy- our 2+1 dogs are not allowed in either.
Where can a second car park?
There is parking in our shared driveway for one vehicle and further cars can park in the lane opposite or there is a layby just along the road. Feel free to bring cars in to unload. We advise seeing each other in and out, as the Cotswold stone wall blocks a clear view.
Can supermarkets deliver?
Yes all supermarkets deliver but our post code is a little out, so let me know your time slot and I can keep an eye out too.
Is there a playground for the children?
Yes and only a 5 minute walk away. It has a mini zip wire and half size goal posts as well as swings.
How private is the cottage?
We the owners live next door , sharing that amazing view ,but like the cottage our windows all look to the view and not to the cottage. There are a couple of houses behind the cottage and lower to the sides The garden you see in the pics is for sole use of the cottage but cannot be fenced off.
Are there walkable pubs?
Yes but we are on a steep hillside, so you may have to walk up hill there or back. There is a taxi list to take with you, if you want to walk there and get a lift home. Most local pubs will sort this for you.
Can you advise of tours around the Cotswolds?
These change all the time according popularity and time of year, so booking well in advance would be recommended.
