Luxury Cotswold Cottage
Eating out & things to do
The area is spoilt for choice on eating out within 2 or 3 miles. The info folder in the cottage will give you plenty of ideas or I can give you a few of my recommendations to look up before staying. (The inhouse folder has extensive info on everything local including my opinions on where to eat out according to taste!)

Award Winning Farmers Market
Experience the delights of Strouds’ award winning farmers market, maybe taking the canal walk to get there. The Saturday market is a must to experience some of the Stroud buzz, as well as bringing home a few local foodie delights to enjoy at the cottage.

Eating out
Enjoy the friendly local pubs, restaurants, cafes; the Ship Inn with the mouth-watering Sunday lunches, casual sharing platters at the Old Lodge, afternoon tea at the Burleigh Court hotel, or a home made pizza at Stroud Brewery. Plenty more local recommendations in the cottage.

Gift Shopping
The area has many small, local businesses and shops offering a great opportunity to spoil yourself or buy gifts. We love Nailsworth for this and treat yourself to a freshly landed fish lunch at Williams Kitchen.
